New York Farm Bureau is hosting a webinar tonight about the $600 relief payments available for farm and food workers. See message and link below from NYFB.

Farm Worker Relief Funds Program Webinar to be Presented April 26

The USDA- Farm and Food Worker Relief (FFWR) Grant Program has awarded grants to several organizations and groups to administer payments to farmworkers who worked through the pandemic. The purpose of this program is to defray worker expenses incurred preparing for, preventing exposure to, and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. Workers may only receive one $600 payment per person, and they must have worked in the U.S. during the pandemic.

The Finger Lakes Community Health Center (FLCH) in New York received one of the grants. New York Farm Bureau is working with the migrant health clinic leadership to help farmers and farmworkers better understand the program. This includes how FLCH will administer the money in their target area.
