Ag Workforce Central: Virtual Office Hour, September 11-Registration is now open

Cornell Agricultural Workforce Development recently hosted the inaugural “Ag Workforce Central: Virtual Office Hour,” a valuable webinar series dedicated to supporting farm employers, employees, and related organizations throughout New York State. Our first session, held on July 10, 2024, focused on the new Farm Labor Overtime Tax Credit and associated pay issues.

The webinar was led by Richard Stup, featuring guest speakers from the NYS Department of Agriculture, NYS Department of Taxation and Finance, and the NYS Department of Labor. Participants gained crucial insights into navigating the evolving landscape of agricultural labor, receiving expert guidance and practical strategies.
