The federal government publishes the Adverse Effect Wage Rate each year for farm workers in the U.S. using H-2A, the agricultural guest worker program. These wage rates will be effective January 1, 2022. New York will experience an increase of 4.5% to $15.66. Our southern neighbors in Pennsylvania will see a dramatic increase of 10.6% to $15.54.
