Special Session of Food Industry Virtual Office Hours

Save-the-date for a special session of Food Industry Virtual Office Hours co-hosted by the IFS@CU and the New York Integrated Food Safety Center of Excellence, focusing on how to increase vaccine acceptance. Invited speaker and panelist Dr. Neil Lewis, Jr., assistant professor of communication and social behavior at Cornell University, will discuss his work to increase vaccine acceptance before we open the floor for our regular Q & A and facilitated discussion to address questions on COVID-19. Joining Dr. Lewis on the panel for the Q & A will be subject matter experts in sanitation, epidemiology, microbiology, virology, food safety culture, and the food safety of dairy foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, and processed foods and beverages.

Intended audience: Open to anyone in the food industry from farm to fork.
