Changes to Sexual Harassment Laws in New York

New York’s sexual harassment laws have recently undergone several important changes that all New York employers should pay attention to. To help New York employers understand these laws, New York Farm Bureau and Cornell’s Ag Workforce Development are partnering with Farm Credit East to host a webinar on New York’s new law on preventing sexual harassment in the workplace. Employers must already have a policy, meeting specific criteria, in place, as well as provide training for all employees by Oct. 2019. This webinar will discuss the new law, the model New York State sexual harassment policy and the options employers have for this training.
The webinar will be presented by Elizabeth Dribusch, General Counsel at New York Farm Bureau, and Richard Stup, Agricultural Workforce Specialist with Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. This webinar is free to all participants.
