Mexico Pauses Sending Temporary Foreign Workers to Canada After Two COVID-19 Deaths

A 24-year-old Mexican agricultural worker died from COVID-19 near Windsor, Ontario, Canada in June, following a similar death in late May. As a result the Mexican government has temporarily stopped sending any workers to Canada until the situation is better understood and to determine if any corrections can be made.
