New Pay Notice and Work Agreement Available

In light of the many changes coming to New York farm labor in the coming year, the NY State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) has updated the Pay Notice and Work Agreement form (LS309). You can find this form in English and Spanish at the links below.

Remember that employers are required to provide information contained in this form to all employees at the time of hiring and 7 days prior to reducing an employee’s wages. You are not required to use the NYSDOL form but you are required to disclose this information to employees according to the New York Minimum Wage Order for Farm Workers. It is a good practice for farm employers to update everyone’s work agreement for 2020 because of the many changes such as overtime and the required day of rest for farm laborers.
